Owners of This NFL Team Host Church Service Before Every Game

The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl Champions, but did you know that the organization hosts a church service before every game?
“The Kansas City Chiefs’ owners, the Hunt family, have held church services at their stadium for 10 years,” Christhlete posted on Instagram. “The Hunts are a strong and outspoken Christian family who did not want fans to miss church due to attending games. The family often attends these services and shares their faith in many other ways. God bless the Hunt family for standing up for Jesus.”
Per The Heartlander, “Before every Sunday noon home game, worshippers can attend a church service in a white tent-like building on the grounds of GEHA Field at Arrowhead. The non-denominational services feature live worship music, prayer and an inspirational message.”
The service partners with Life.Church, a large church with campuses around the country.
“It’s a great opportunity for our family to be able to come to a church service before the game as well, because on a typical Sunday, like a lot of our fans, we’re traveling to the game,” Clark Hunt added.

“My favorite thing about faith and family chapel is number one, we get to worship, so we’re pointing our hearts and our minds towards Jesus,” Chiefs Chaplain Marcellus Casey said. “You can feel the energy of everybody singing together.”
“In the world we live in today, people need as much encouragement, as much faith, as much hope, as much vision and passion as they can get,” he added.
Faith is at the forefront of the Hunt-owned Chiefs organization.
“We want our employees to develop spiritually,” Hunt said at an event several years ago. “In the National Football League, Christ is really glorified. My identity is my faith in Christ.”
