Khloé Kardashian Buys Groceries for the Elderly, Gift Cards for Grocery Store Workers

Reality star Khloé Kardashian is paying for groceries for senior citizens and gift cards for grocery store workers during COVID-19.
According to Fox News, “The youngest Kardashian daughter has been waking up bright and early this past week to hit different Trader Joe’s and Ralphs locations throughout the Los Angeles area with the intention of paying for the elderly shoppers’ food and supplies that they have in their basket before checkout.”
Kardashian’s rep told Fox News that she’s purchased 200+ gift cards to help alleviate financial strain for grocery store workers.
To prevent the spread COVID-19, Kroger grocery stores and its affiliate stores allow senior citizens and “high-risk” individuals to come an hour before stores open to the general public.
Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen, shared an encouraging message about the company’s outlook, “Despite the challenging times, we are honored to be there for our customers, communities and each other.”

Kardashian’s brother in-law, Kanye West, previously donated funds to provide meals for those in need in the Los Angeles area.
Entertainment tycoon Tyler Perry also paid for groceries for the elderly in both Louisiana and the Atlanta area.
