Actor’s Daughter Shares How Jesus Saved Her from Anxiety, the Occult

Lola Sheen, daughter of actor Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, talked through her entire testimony, explaining how she came to have such bad depression and anxiety and the miraculous way Jesus saved her from it.
“I was exposed to so much at such a young age. This is hard for me to talk about because it makes me really sad. I was exposed to so many demonic things when I was younger, just around very ungodly people,” Sheen said during the first episode of her “Heavenly Bonded” podcast. “This industry, you know, the acting industry, the whole fame thing, there are very dark parts to it.”
“And I want to share this because I feel like you can see someone who has famous parents, you can see a famous person and be like, ‘Oh my gosh, I want their life.’ But truly, you never know what someone’s going through, and it’s not as glamorous as it seems,” she continued. “There’s a lot that comes with it that is so harsh and so dark, and that’s what really affected me.”
Sheen grew up in a broken home, with divorced parents and a father suffering from addiction. Her parents were also rarely home, further adding to her chaotic life. As she progressed through middle school and high school, many of her decisions were made in order to try and fit in and find the validation and love that she was not getting at home.

This led to drinking, partying and even an addiction to nicotine after she took up vaping to fit in. Meanwhile, she was seeking guidance for her life, turning to the occult for answers.
“I got to the point where even when I was so young, I got so desperate to just, like, seek help, seek guidance and just seek someone to send me a miracle…I would always pray, ‘Just send me a miracle.’ I did not know who I was talking to, but I was like, I need a miracle…this led into something that I hate talking about, but this just shows that God is so good. God can save you from anything because I did go through a crystal era, I went through psychic readings and I went through seeking wisdom, searching for some other form of wisdom somewhere else,” Sheen explained.
“I would buy these crystals because I thought that this certain rock would bring me love. I thought this rock would bring me wisdom. But genuinely, I was buying these rocks because I thought that it was my only option,” she continued. “I thought, ‘Gosh, this is my answer to protect me.’ And I did go to a couple psychic readings…I remember I would put my faith in these readings…I would just sort of look for some sort of hope through whatever the person was telling me.”
These decisions only made things worse and eventually Sheen ended up bedridden due to fear and depression. Though these intense feelings would ebb and flow, no matter what, they would always return, crippling Sheen.
Even though she was not searching for the Lord, it was during one of these episodes that He approached her and lifted her from the darkness.
“I can’t explain it other than it was actually supernatural. But I remember one night I was lying in my bed…I was lying in my bed and I felt Jesus come in[to] my room, and I felt him hold my hand and say, ‘Try this again with me,’ and I can’t explain this, but it felt like He told me, ‘I’m here to rescue you. I’m here to save you tonight. You are going to be okay,’” Sheen said. “And He rescued me. He carried me through the darkest valley, and He saved my life that night. And Jesus, He fully became my refuge that night I met Him.”
Since then, Sheen has become a committed Christian, getting baptized at the beginning of January and unashamedly proclaiming the Gospel. Along with sharing her testimony, she is starting a podcast to discuss her faith journey and share the light of Jesus.
“I can’t believe that Jesus brought me this far to spread His light onto others and encourage people to follow Him,” she said.
