Macaulay Culkin reprised his most famous role for a special holiday season ad campaign!

“I’m just worried about mom being by herself, y’know? What if she falls down or gets snowed in? They never did catch that South Bay Shovel Slayer,” Culkin, playing HOME ALONE’s Kevin McCallister, said in the commercial for Home Instead, a company that provides in-home care for older adults.

Culkin speaks to a neighbor about his worries, who asks him, “Have you tried talking to her about getting a little help?”

“The scariest part is starting that conversation. Then at least you’ll know and can stop worrying about it. It’s not easy, but how you feel about family is a complicated thing,” she said, echoing a line from the beloved Christmas movie.

Culkin filmed several HOME ALONE-inspired clips for the ad campaign, titled “Home But Not Alone.”

“We wanted to tell this story authentically, recognizing that we all experience this moment with a loved one at some point,” Jody Hill, who directed the campaign, told PEOPLE. “It goes beyond holiday nostalgia to connect with Kevin McCallister years later — as he faces the same concerns many of us have as our parents age. It’s real, it’s funny, and it’s deeply human.”

This ad campaign comes at the perfect time; HOME ALONE is celebrating its 35th anniversary this Christmas.

Culkin is marking the occasion with the “A Nostalgic Night With Macaulay Culkin” tour, which will take him around the country this holiday season for screenings of HOME ALONE.

“Relive the iconic scenes and heartwarming moments from HOME ALONE on the big screen, and then dive deep into the behind-the-scenes stories and insights with Macaulay Culkin himself,” the tour’s website reads. “Hear about his experiences on set, his favorite memories from filming, and his take on why this movie has become such a beloved holiday classic.”

It seems like everyone in the world is a HOME ALONE fan — including Culkin’s own kids.

“He thinks he’s Kevin,” Culkin said of his son Dakota, 4, in an interview with E! News. “I’m like, ‘Do you remember going down the stairs on the sled?’ He’s like, ‘Mmhmm, yep. Sure do.’ I’m like, ‘Do you remember when he had yellow hair?’ And he’s like, ‘Uh-huh, yep.’”

The actor also spoke about getting comfortable with his role in such a beloved Christmas classic, saying, “I’m kind of embracing it and, at the same time, [making fun] of it, too. It’s very rare when you have something that kind of encompasses an important day, and I’m a part of that. It’s more fun to embrace it than to fight it.”

From this new ad campaign,to his upcoming tour, it looks like Culkin is more than ready to embrace his HOME ALONE legacy.
