Nate Bargatze Scores Role in This Super Bowl Ad
By Movieguide® Contributor
Nate Bargatze is starting 2025 off on a high note; the popular comedian is set to star in a Super Bowl commercial.
The upcoming ad, which will be Bargatze’s first commercial appearance, is for DoorDash, the popular food delivery service app.
“It’s like, you know, making a mini-movie,” the comedian said of the experience, adding that it was strange not to perform in front of a live audience. However, Bargatze says he definitely enjoyed making the ad — “I’m in trouble if I ever go to something that’s not going to be fun.”
It’s no surprise DoorDash tapped the stand-up comedian to be in their commercial — Bargatze has previously spoken about how much he loves the app.
“I use DoorDash regularly. I used it two nights ago,” he told Variety during a recent interview. “I’m only not using it right now because I’m at a hotel and then I’ll be back at it.”
Bargatze even mentioned how much he enjoys DoorDash in a recent SNL monologue and told PEOPLE that’s how he got the gig.
“Telling the story about DoorDash on SNL, that was my whole goal, was to, I was basically going on SNL to audition for DoorDash,” he joked. “It really worked out.”

Bargatze recently launched The Nateland Company, where he plans to produce family-friendly content.
“The Nateland Company is committed to producing high-quality content that inspires and entertains while upholding values of respect, kindness, and inclusivity,” the comedian said in a statement about the company’s launch. “With a focus on laughter, heartwarming stories, and relatable characters, we aim to foster meaningful connections and provide positive experiences that families can enjoy together.”
