Get ready to see MS. RACHEL Season 2 and SESAME STREET on Netflix this fall.

MS. RACHEL did so well for Netflix that she’s coming back with Season 2 on Sept. 1. Elmo, Ernie, Big Bird and their other SESAME STREET friends will debut on Nov. 10, The Wrap reported.

MS. RACHEL Season 1 only had four episodes, but it was the most-watched season of all kids’ series from January to June this year with 53.4 million views.

Netflix is taking over HBO’s current SESAME STREET streaming deal. The streamer will feature new and old episodes of the show worldwide. It will also release on the same day on PBS Kids and PBS stations. SESAME STREET’s 56th season debuts Nov. 10.

CBS News reports the 56th season will shine the spotlight on Elmo’s World and Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck segments. The episodes will be 11 minutes long, which is longer than their previous format.

“Expect new ways to play along as Cookie Monster opens his very own Cookie Cart on Sesame Street, and explore Abby’s Fairy Garden, a home to surprising and delightful magical creatures,” Netflix said of the “reimagined” season.

“This unique public-private partnership will enable us to bring our research-based curriculum to young children around the world with Netflix’s global reach, while ensuring children in communities across the U.S. continue to have free access on public television to the SESAME STREET they love,” Sesame Workshop, the non-profit behind the show, said in a statement.

The new season will feature animation overlays that focus on music, action, humor and wand sparkle effects, confetti and bubbles, Animation Magazine reported. It will introduce an all-new animated clip, “Tales From 123,” that shows the interior of the 123 Sesame Street apartment building where Elmo and his pals live.

“I strongly believe that our educational programming for children is one of the most important aspects of our service to the American people, and SESAME STREET has been an integral part of that critical work for more than half a century,” said Paula Kerger, President, CEO, PBS. “We’re proud to continue our partnership in the pursuit of having a profound impact on the lives of children for years to come.”

Other kids’ shows coming to Netflix this fall are DR. SEUSS’S RED FISH, BLUE FISH on Sept. 1, BLIPPI’S JOB SHOW Season 2 on Sept. 22, DR. SEUSS’S HORTON! on Oct. 6, THOMAS & FRIENDS: SODOR SINGS TOGETHER on Oct. 16, DR.
