Patricia Heaton just shared a moving reminder of God’s presence in our lives, courtesy of an 11-year-old content creator.

“Why do y’all be forgetting the man that we serve?” Lil James Tucker, an Instagram and YouTube star, said in an audio voiceover in Heaton’s clip. “Y’all be going through stuff, and y’all should know this, y’all can always talk to God.”

Tucker continued, “Y’all need to talk to Him. And y’all not just talking to no regular person when y’all talk to God. Y’all talking to the King of all kings. Y’all talking to the man who you could talk to when nobody else don’t want to talk.”

“Happy Sunday!” Heaton captioned the post. “Thanks for the reminder.”

Tucker often shares messages of faith on his social media accounts. In a recent Facebook video, he said, “You woke up this morning. God [has] given you another opportunity to wake up and be productive. So, be thankful.”

Heaton also shares her faith, crediting her relationship with God for her longtime success in the entertainment industry.

“If I had been successful in my 20s, I could have had substance abuse issues or big ego issues, and would have had my priorities out of alignment. It didn’t happen until I really got God as the center of my life,” she said during an appearance on the “Like a Mother” podcast. “He was always in my life, but I didn’t realize how much the desire to be a successful actor was really the thing that was driving me, as opposed to how God wanted me to serve.”

She continued, “Until that got aligned and then I got married and started having kids, is when He allowed these beautiful blessings to happen in my life.”

Heaton has starred in beloved sitcoms like EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND and THE MIDDLE and says these shows have given her the opportunity to touch people around the world through humor and heart.

“I’ve gotten more people come up to me about these shows saying, ‘My dad had cancer and the highlight of every week was when we could all get together and watch EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND or THE MIDDLE, or ‘Our family can watch THE MIDDLE together. It’s the only show that the kids love and we love it,’” she shared.

Heaton added, “To be able to contribute that to your community, to your culture, to society is a real blessing. And that’s all God. He gave me these two impossibly wonderful shows to do.”

Heaton’s recent Instagram post is a reminder that, no matter how large or small the problem is, we can always turn to God.
