Phil Wickham released his highly anticipated album Song Of The Saints, and two of the songs have already found special success, charting within the top 10 songs in Christian music.
“My new album ‘Song Of The Saints’ is out now!!” Wickham posted on Instagram. “I pray these songs bring hope, life, joy and peace to any person who listens to them. May it lift eyes to heaven, and bring people to the feet of Jesus.”

Wickham is extremely proud of the album, which was released on Sept. 12, sharing that all 16 songs are personal to his life and testimony.
“Every time I step into a studio, write a song, or lead people in worship, I am reminded that music is a gift – and I am so grateful for it,” the singer said. “I’ve never been more excited or proud of a record! Every single song from my new album ‘Song Of The Saints’ holds so much meaning and testimony for me. My heart is bursting not only to sing them to people, but to sing them with people. I pray that wherever they are heard and sung, they bring life, hope, joy, and conviction.”
The album also comes during a monumental year for the artist. It’s his 20th year in the industry.
“This year marks twenty years that I’ve been a signed artist, and this album is my tenth official studio album. Even after two decades and all those songs, I’m more thankful and fired up than I ever have been to be a part of people’s lives through music. As long as people keep listening, I’ll keep shouting from the rooftops about how amazing Jesus is and how He rescued my soul,” Wickham said.
While Wickham has continued to produce new songs, he has also used his position as a veteran in the industry to lift up and mentor other artists. Most notably is his partnership with Brandon Lake, through which they have headlined multiple tours together. Earlier this year, the duo announced a behind-the-scenes concert movie which will share what has fueled their Summer Worship Nights tour.
“Never in my life did I think I would be a part of telling a piece of my story in film,” Wickham said in May. “I hope the stories encountered through this movie show everyone watching how much they are loved by the ONE. I can’t wait to share this with the world, and I hope people are encouraged by it.”
“My hope for this documentary is that it would not only show what it takes to go on tour, but why the music and touring mean so much to us,” Lake added. “Countless lives have been changed, especially ours. Though we’ve had the opportunity to influence many, our focus remains FOR THE ONE.”
Twenty years after joining the industry, it is incredible how popular Wickham remains as he continues to write quality songs that help bring listeners closer to Christ.
