If your heart is yearning for fall, we’ve compiled a list of movies to cuddle with up this season that fit with your faith values. Some have coffee or football, and all of them have an emphasis on what matters most—family.

COFFEE SHOP

COFFEE SHOP is a winsome movie about Donavan, a young woman who’s been unlucky in love and is struggling to keep her coffee shop open so she can help others. Donavan had her dream guy walk out on her to do investment banking. Now, she’s ready to try dating again and is amazed how hard it is. Her sister, Becky, and Becky’s boyfriend are concerned about her so they ask a famous New York playwright, Ben, to take vacation time in their beautiful seaside town hoping there will be a match. Donavan and Ben don’t get along at first and just when romance starts to blossom, her ex returns. Who will Donavan pick? How can she save her coffee shop?

SWEET INSPIRATIONS

SWEET INSPIRATIONS follows a group of Christian women who hope to raise funds to save a local women and children’s shelter. They open a bakery selling gourmet cupcakes with Scripture verses on them. However, as Maggie gets more media attention to fuel their efforts it creates a strain between the friends. Will they be able to raise enough money to save the shelter by the deadline and patch up their friendships?

FAITH, HOPE & LOVE

FAITH, HOPE & LOVE follows the story of Jimmy Hope, a Christian father coping with the loss of his wife. Jimmy’s daughters are dance students of Faith Turley, a divorced woman coping with her ex-husband’s infidelity. Faith needs money to save her studio so she invites Jimmy to be her partner in a “Pro-Schmo” dance competition with a large cash prize. As they practice and compete, Faith and Jimmy find themselves drawn to each other. Faith isn’t a Christian, but Jimmy’s earnest faith draws her to Jesus.

CATCHING FAITH 2: THE HOMECOMING is a sweet sequel about a Christian family, the Taylors, as they go through many seasons of life at one time. The movie begins four years after the first movie as Alexa and John Taylor eat dinner with Alexa’s mother, who lives with them and suffers from dementia. While eating, the pair get two separate video calls from their children. Their daughter, Ravyn, announces she’s engaged, while their son, Beau, informs them that a football injury prohibits him from playing professionally. At the same time, Alexa lands her dream job as a designer. How will their family navigate this season?
