Former nickelodeon star and dancing with the stars runner up, kel mitchell,  is now an officially licensed pastor!

Mitchell shared the news on his Twitter account this past weekend.

According to pastor-kel-mitchell/">Spirit Foods, “When he is not acting, writing or directing, Mitchell speaks to youth across the country encouraging them to trust in the Lord and follow their dreams. Kel also has been faithfully involved in Helps Ministry for over 8 years at his church, and most recently became the Youth pastor of Spirit Food christian Center after pastor Zeigler saw God’s calling on his life to reach & teach the youth.”

The bio continues, “Furthermore, He and his wife were honored with an award from the Carson Black Chamber of Commerce for providing a safe program for kids to show off their creative talents in their dance variety live show, The Back House Party. Mitchell is additionally the spokesperson for Black College Expo, which provides numerous scholarships for students throughout the year.”
