PROPERTY BROTHERS star Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan are expecting Baby No. 2!
“Round 2,” Scott captioned a picture of Phan showing off her baby bump to son Parker. “I hope Parker’s ready for a lil company.”
Phan also posted the picture in a carousel of images, captioned, “? lately-ish ?”
Scott has previously spoken about how important being a father is to him.
In an episode of his AT HOME podcast, the HGTV star called fatherhood “amazing,” per The Daily Mail.
“It’s this immediate love and this feeling you need to do everything you can to make them feel safe and make them feel loved,” he said shortly after Parker’s 2022 birth.
The couple have also opened up about their pregnancy journey, which involved two years of IVF and other fertility treatments. Scott and Phan have said they’re sharing their story to encourage others who are going through the same thing.
“I think that this creates a bit more of a community of people who have either been through the process or are about to go through the process or have been having certain difficulties to realize, you’re not alone,” Scott explained. “There are a lot of us that have had complications, and I think that something like this is something that we should talk about, because then it doesn’t make it as scary a thing. It makes it something that is more relatable.”
Movieguide® previously reported on the couple’s thoughts on parenthood:
PROPERTY BROTHERS star Drew Scott recently shared about what it’s like to be a the father to his first child, son Parker. Scott shares Parker with wife Linda Phan.
“[Parenthood] unlocks a side you didn’t know you had,” Scott described. “You think you know. I have this deep love for Linda but then, all of a sudden, that’s the shallow pool. I’m not saying shallow with Linda, I love Linda, but there’s a whole other depth to Linda and my love together with Parker.
“It’s amazing just seeing his face when he looks at you, like, once he started focusing in and he locks eyes with you — oh, your heart melts,” he continued. “It’s amazing.”
“I’m still in awe and in disbelief,” Phan said in episode of the couple’s podcast, AT HOME. “I feel like every step of this pregnancy has taken me time to adjust. And then as soon as I almost adjust, it’s onto the next milestone or the next thing. I feel like I’m always playing catchup with my feelings.”
“It’s this immediate love and this feeling you need to do everything you can to make them feel safe and make them feel loved,” Scott added.
