Sadie Robertson Huff, LO Worship Talk New EP, ‘Holy in My Heart’

By Movieguide® Contributor

Sadie Robertson Huff caught up with LO Worship members Will Robertson and Laela Dasher on her “WHOA That’s Good” podcast to talk about the group’s new EP, “Holy in My Heart.”

“When you read the Old Testament and you read the New Testament, you realize God’s always been holy,” Dasher said. “He’s always been holy, like holy enough, holy in the heavens… Too holy for us to even come before him; that’s how holy he is. That’s the holy in our hearts that…this song is trying to capture.”

The trio shared how God’s holiness is often overlooked or “hard to grasp,” but “Holy in My Heart” is a complete acknowledgment of God’s holiness.

“God is so holy like it’s almost illogical for me to face him because of how holy he is,” Dasher said. “I mean, even Saul, when he was converted to Paul on the road to Damascus, was literally blind from gazing upon the beauty of God.”

Dasher shared some lines from the song:

Angels in the heavens all around your throne

Ever seeing you holy, nothing else they know

Stunned by your perfection.

Everything you are

You’re holy in the heavens

Be holy in my heart

“It’s like be holy in my heart [is] a declaration… [to] come be holy in my heart,” Dasher said.

Huff added that Christians “have so much access [to God] that sometimes you forget he’s a holy God.”

The song is a reminder of God’s constant awe and holiness.

“Holy in My Heart” will be available on September 1. LO Worship also recently released a single called “Presence,” which is about finding peace and fulfillment in God.

Movieguide® also reported on Huff’s inspiration for LO Worship:

Robertson Huff said her desire to launch LO WORSHIP came from her relationship with Jesus and how worship music helps sustain her in difficult times.

I started LO Worship because I wanted to write songs that support the messages that Live Original is already sharing: that one encounter with Jesus can change everything,’ Robertson Huff said. People don’t always remember a 40-minute sermon—but they do remember a song!

Besides creating music and hosting podcasts, Huff recently wrote a book with her husband, Christian.

Huff wrote on Instagram: “BIG NEWS! WE WROTE A BOOK TOGETHER ?! A 90 day devotional book about putting LOVE first! This is for the single, dating, engaged or married person! This is for everyone, because everyone is called to put love first! It was so fun (and challenging) ? to write this book together! We are straight up about all the things in this book and truly challenging us to look more like love himself – Jesus!”

The devotional will launch on October 3, 2023.
