Sadie Robertson Huff, Korie Robertson Tease Possible Return to Reality TV

Sadie Robertson Huff and her mom, Korie Robertson, recently teased their potential return to the world of reality TV.

The mother and daughter discussed their time on DUCK DYNASTY in a new episode of Huff’s “WHOA That’s Good” podcast.

“It is really fun,” Huff said. “It is funny and a good show.”

She added, “It was such a fun season, and so wild and crazy, and then time just passed. We finished the show, and when it was over, we were ready for it to be over.”

Robertson agreed, saying the family was frequently asked if they would consider taking DUCK DYNASTY back on the air.

“It doesn’t feel right to try and do DUCK DYNASTY again, I guess, because it was so great. It was so fun,” she explained. “It was a moment, and it was special, and there was something special that was captured in that moment.”

However, it looks like the Robertson family might have something new in store for fans.

“So, we’re not necessarily doing a show, but we’re not necessarily not, and by that, I mean we’re doing a sizzle,” Huff shared.

Robertson explained that a sizzle is a collection of clips that gets shopped around to different networks, showing what a potential show would look like.

While mother and daughter seem excited by this new project, both were quick to add that they are not completely reliant on the idea of another show.

“I think, for our family, we’re pretty used to just holding things loosely,” Robertson said. “If it’s for you, if it’s going to be good for the kingdom, if it’s good for our family, then let it be. If not, then it’s fine…we will step through that door if you open it, but if you don’t want this for our family, then close the door.”

Robertson also teased the family’s return to reality TV in an interview with E! News in 2023.

“We feel that the entertainment [world] needs more positivity,” she said. “Things that are hopeful, that are light and that point towards faith. We want to do more of that and if that looks like us coming back to unscripted TV? Maybe, we’ll see!”

She and her husband, Willie Robertson, have also spoken about their plans for their production company, Tread Lively, which recently produced THE BLIND, a biopic about Phil Robertson.

“We do have plans for more movies,” Korie told the Shreveport Times, adding that they want to focus on “faith friendly” content.

Movieguide® previously reported on how the Robertsons are using their platform to spread their faith:

DUCK DYNASTY stars Willie and Korie Roberston recently shared how Willie’s family came to faith and the importance of being vocal about the gospel no matter where their career takes them.

“I feel like we need more believers and Christians in the workforce,” Willie said. “Not that ministers are bad, [they are] awesome. But we need more Christian business people, we need more Christian people in entertainment, Christians out there with that mindset. And not just sitting there saying, ‘we believe in Jesus,’ but having that ministry mindset and bringing that to the table.”

Willie also shared that he originally planned to attend seminary and become a pastor but now realizes that God called him to a different path to have an even greater impact through business and entertainment.

“We believe that we’ve been called to an abundant life with the Spirit of God with us and in us. When we walk in a place, whether it’s Hollywood or your work or your dorm, we don’t need to tread lightly but tread lively,” Korie said, speaking to their outspoken faith.
