Siobhan Fallon Hogan Credits God for New Movie

Siobhan Fallon Hogan credits God for her new movie SHELTER IN SOLITUDE, where she branched out of her norm to serve as the actress, writer, producer and distributor.
The actress, known for her roles in MEN IN BLACK, FORREST GUMP and NEW IN TOWN, said the idea came to her one night as she went to bed.
“It’s like having a dream, you’re like, ‘I better write this down.’ And I literally wrote it all in three weeks,” she told Fox News. “I’m telling you, it flowed out of me. There’s people that say, ‘this had nothing to do with me,’ and I really feel that. Because I feel…it has a message for this time, where God must be so sad because we’ve gotten so off the mark…”
“SHELTER IN SOLITUDE is an American, faith-filled, country western, prison love story told during Covid times. It is the story of a wannabe country singer, Val (Siobhan Fallon Hogan) and her unconventional relationship with Jackson Marcus (Peter Macon),” a synopsis of the film reads.
Fallon Hogan always wanted to do a faith-filled film, but she doesn’t discriminate against those she works with based on their beliefs.
“My crew… they’re from all walks of life. Your actions should prove who you are,” the actress said.
But she’s used this movie to talk about God with unbelievers on set.
“My cinematographer and my editor, who are atheists… I say to them, ‘what are the chances we’d be picked up by AMC and Regal? There’s only one reason, and that’s God. And I’m telling you that’s the truth.’ And they’re like, ‘OK, if that’s what you think!’ And I’m like, ‘No, that’s what I know,’” Fallon Hogan added.
In a recent Instagram post, she appeared at the premiere of SHELTER IN SOLITUDE in Nashville, Tennessee.
She wrote, “Thank you to Nashville for the premiere!! We will be releasing a week from today in Regals & AMCs as long as other chains all over the country. Check out our trailer on @amctheatres and @regalmovies.”
SHELTER IN SOLITUDE debuts today in select theaters around the nation.
