THE BLIND is coming to the Angel Studios!

The touching film that shares the story of DUCK DYNASTY’s Phil Robertson and his family will be available to stream on the Angel app and Angel.com starting Nov. 26.

“THE BLIND shows how one man can make an incredible impact on not just another person but all the people that person will touch,” said David Fischer, Director of Business Affairs and Acquisitions at Angel Studios, said in a press release. “The story of Phil Robertson is one where a man learns how to forgive himself for the damage he’s caused in life and ultimately how he found a deeper calling where his past and present learned how to live at peace with one another, all connected by a higher spiritual purpose.”

God touched Robertson’s life and turned it around for good in a powerful way.

“THE BLIND shares the origin story of Phil Robertson, long before he became a reality show star. He fell in love with Miss Kay and started a family, but his demons threatened to tear their lives apart. Set in the backwoods swamps of 1960s Louisiana, THE BLIND shares never-before-revealed moments in Phil’s life as he seeks to conquer the shame of his past, ultimately finding redemption in an unlikely place,” a synopsis reads. “This stunning cinematic journey chronicles the love story that started a dynasty, the turmoil that nearly brought it crashing down, and the hope that rose from the ashes to create the foundation for generations to come.”

Movieguide® praised its portrayal of Robertson’s testimony.

THE BLIND is a good movie as a Christian testimony. That said, it doesn’t follow the rules of filmmaking. So, it may not win a big audience. The movie is propelled by the jeopardy, and vice and drinking, but Jesus is extolled . THE BLIND is a rough movie. So, MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution, especially for children and young teenagers.
