Did the Robertsons ever think they’d return to reality TV after DUCK DYNASTY ended nearly 10 years ago? Stars Rebecca, Sadie, Bella and their mom Korie shared what it’s like jumping into DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL.

“Well, yes and no. I felt like we thought after [it ended] that we would be in entertainment because we had fun. We enjoyed doing it,” Korie told Movieguide®’s Kaelii Williams of if they thought they’d return to TV. “We saw kind of the value of entertainment and the power of entertainment, which you all know very well at Movieguide®.”

“We just saw the power of family entertainment and having faith as a part of our show. And so it wasn’t like we didn’t want to be in entertainment, but I don’t think we ever thought we would do DUCK DYNASTY again, because it felt like such a special thing, and it was amazing. But it felt like it kind of lived in its moment, and we would do something else. But then here we are,” she added.

Now 10 years later, the Robertson kids have grown up and have families of their own. Williams asked how they instill faith in their children so that they can have their own relationship with God.

“You know, it’s so cool that you asked this question, especially being Movieguide®, just because we do believe that entertainment has such a huge impact on who you are and who you become,” Sadie answered. “And I think first and foremost, like who’s around you shapes who you are and who you become and the conversations you have, and you really believing it.”

Sadie revealed something her mom always used to say to them: “The biggest thing that you can do for your kids is if you believe something, act that way.”

“The hardest thing would be saying you believe something and then not actually living it out in your life, which is so true,” she added.

The Robertsons will make their return to TV on Sunday, June 1, at 9/8c with DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL, a bittersweet occasion as family patriarch Phil Robertson went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 25.

Sadie reflected on her grandfather’s life in a recent Instagram post.

“I can’t stop thinking about how he lived in the middle of nowhere, in a small, humble home with no cell phone or computer, and yet his life touched millions with the hope of Jesus,” she wrote.

“He reminds me of people in the Bible. Not many lived with the end goal in mind as much as he did, and not many chose to spend their lives telling everyone they encountered like he did. He really believed it, and I know that he is alive in Christ fully today!” she added.

The Robertsons will certainly carry on Phil’s legacy through DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL as they share the good news of Jesus Christ with millions of viewers.
