Tim Tebow and his wife, former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow, just celebrated six years of marriage.
“Watching these memories back reminds me how faithful God has been in every season,” Tebow captioned an anniversary reel, which shows moments from dating up to welcoming their daughter.
The couple’s daughter, Daphne, was born July 6, 2025.
The former NFL star continued, “Demi-Leigh, thank you for walking beside me through every new chapter, every calling, every high and low. You are one of the greatest gifts Jesus has given me, and I’m so grateful you chose me back. And getting to welcome Daphne with you this past year has been one of the sweetest blessings of my life. Here’s to six years behind us and a lifetime ahead. Happy anniversary ❤️.”

Demi-Leigh replied, “Happy anniversary my love! I choose you everyday, all day, forever! Parenting with you is by far my favorite chapter yet! I love you ❤️.”
Demi-Leigh posted her own reel on her Instagram.
“Happy anniversary my sweetheart! 🤍,” she wrote. “I’ve loved you for 8 years, dreamt of forever with you for 7 years, and lived life with you for 6 years. We’re a stronger team now than ever before. Parenting with you is my favorite version of us yet! I love you! 🥹🫶🏼.”
Tebow previously told Today how he met Demi-Leigh in 2018.
“Her sister has special needs, so we invited them to Night to Shine in South Africa,” Tebow said. “We kind of met and started talking through that and haven’t stopped.”
Night to Shine is a worldwide event for special needs people that Tebow created through his foundation.
“I knew that she was a very special person. And after the initial attraction, we realized that we both share the same faith, which was so important to me,” he told PEOPLE later.
In 2017, Tebow had told PEOPLE about his search for love.
“I’m looking, but I just can’t seem to find anyone,” he said. “I don’t want to be single; I’m ready to settle down and start a family. I want to have kids. I have so many things I want…No one will be happier than me when I finally find the right person.”
He continued, “I’m just looking for someone who has a good heart…they have to be kind, and they have to care about people who can’t do anything for them in return.”
Demo-Leigh fit the bill. After just a few months of dating, Tebow proposed, and they married in January 2020 in South Africa. Now, after six years together, they look forward to many more years together.
