Tim Tebow continues to fight for children in America who are being exploited, putting his support behind the bipartisan “Renewed Hope Act,” which is finally up for a vote in the House of Representatives.

“Since Tim Tebow testified before the House Judiciary Committee on March 6, 2024, during the hearing, ‘A Voice for the Voiceless,’ the scale of this crisis has intensified. The number of unidentified children seen in sexually abusive series of images has risen from 57,000 children to over 89,000 children,” the Tim Tebow Foundation shared.

The bill would “create a dedicated child exploitation workforce of at least 200 individuals who would be a part of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and work with the Department of Homeland Security to ‘deconflict, coordinate, and synchronize child sexual exploitation investigations,'” CBN said.

The former NFL player shared more about the urgent need during a recent FOX & FRIENDS interview, saying, “There are at least 57,000 [cases] of boys and girls getting abused and raped that have been labeled unknown or unidentified.”

“They have yet to be identified. So it is boys and girls that are waiting to be safeguarded, protected or cared for, and they are sitting there going through an earthly living h*** every single day,” he said.

In a late December Instagram post, Tebow shared just how prevalent the proliferation of CSAM is across the US.

“Some images you just can’t shake. For us, it’s this map,” he wrote, alongside a map of the US covered in red dots. “Every red dot shows a computer in the U.S. sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). There are nearly 340,000 red dots in just six months — each one representing a child in desperate need of protection.”

“For too long, hundreds of thousands of girls and boys have endured horrific abuse — often at the hands of adults who are supposed to protect them,” Tebow said. “Children in our nation are right now living in the darkest of evils, crying out for help. Their pain must stir us to act.”

Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL) and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) presented the Renewed Hope Act to the House Judiciary Committee again last week.

“Children must be protected from the staggering rise in digital predators who seek to exploit them. That means expanding efforts to identify and support these child victims of online abuse,” Rep. Schultz said of the act. “Mounting evidence points to a disturbing escalation of extreme, violent online content. I’m proud to join my colleagues to introduce this bipartisan legislation to increase capacity to identify victims of child sexual exploitation, and invest in front-line, dedicated professionals who can find predators and save innocent lives.”

“The scale and severity of online child exploitation continues to grow at an alarming rate,” Congresswoman Lee added. “The Renewed Hope Act ensures that federal law enforcement has the trained professionals and resources necessary to identify these victims and stop these crimes.”

Let’s pray the Renewed Hope Act is passed.
