‘We Are BACK’: HGTV Announces New HOME TOWN Season Premiere Date

By Movieguide® Contributor

New episodes of HOME TOWN are coming soon!

“You’ve waited so patiently…and we are BACK,” Erin Napier announced on Instagram. “The new season of #HGTVHomeTown premieres Sunday, January 7 at 8/7 ct. Watch it live on @hgtv or anytime on @streamonmax.”

For any fans who can’t wait until 2024 for new HOME TOWN episodes, there’s HOME TOWN HOLIDAYS, an upcoming holiday special featuring the Napiers.

Airing December 17, the special will see the couple “revisit past homeowners and grant their Christmas wishes with special handmade items,” per a press release from HGTV.

HOME TOWN has also already received a Season 8 pick-up from HGTV.

“HGTV confirmed a HOME TOWN Season 8 today in a joint Instagram post with the couple — and everyone is excited,” the network posted on their website. “We predict Season 8 will be the best one yet.”

Movieguide® previously reported on the end of Season 7:

HGTV star Erin Napier is celebrating the end of production on HOME TOWN’s seventh season.

“That’s a wrap on 110 episodes!” she captioned an Instagram post. “7 seasons of #HGTVHomeTown seems impossible. On the last day of filming a season, we have the Laurel legend for lunch: Vic’s. Love this crew and this show, about pretty houses to some, a ministry of community to me and @scotsman.co. Thank y’all for watching when part 2 of season 7 starts airing soon!”

She and husband Ben Napier might have just wrapped production on Season 7, but fans of HOME TOWN, never fear!

“BREAKING NEWS: #HGTVHomeTownhas been renewed for Season 8!” an Instagram post from HGTV reads.

In addition to working on HOME TOWN, Erin has been busy promoting her bestselling book, “Heirloom Rooms.”

“This book is not standard home design fare,” she wrote on Instagram. “It is tender and about raising a family and the rooms where that happens. It celebrates imperfection and change and individuality, and it never tells you how you should do that. I hope you see yourselves in these essays and photos. And I can’t thank you enough for your MASSIVE early support and reviews of it.”
