DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL Season 1 may have just started last month, but fans are already awaiting news about Season 2.
“Season 2 we are actually already filming. There’s more cast members from the original show on Season 2,” star Sadie Robertson Huff teased in an interview with Taste of Country.
News of the second season isn’t surprising, though. When A&E initially announced THE REVIVAL, the network confirmed that two 10-episode seasons were on their way. Although a release date for the second season has not yet been announced, fans can expect it sometime next year, likely the first half of 2026.
Huff explained that the new series revolves around the changing dynamics at her family’s Duck Commander store.
“My mom actually runs a lot of things up here at Duck Commander. I have my all of my podcast and Live Original team work out of Duck Commander,” she said. “My brother, John Luke, works for my mom’s production company at Duck Commander. My sister manages the whole Duck Commander store, so the next generation works here.”
Favorites from the original DUCK DYNASTY, like Jase and Jep, didn’t appear in Season 1 because they’re not involved with Duck Commander much anymore.
Huff’s dad, Willie Robertson’s, role has shifted, too, leading to curiosity as to what he’ll be up to on the next season.
“My dad semi-retired, so what does that look like with his new phase of life? As a grandpa, traveling…and so that’s kinda why there’s other reasons why Jase and Jep aren’t on this season,” she explained.

Starring in a reality TV show is much different for Huff now than when she was a teenager.
“The first time I did this as a teenager and I was figuring out who I was, that was a really hard time of my life to figure out who I was with the opinion of so many,” she explained in an Instagram post. “So, navigating that was difficult, and I’m so thankful to do it again, knowing who I am, having a spouse who loves me for who I am, just being a mom and being grounded in where I’m at in life.”
She continued, “Sometimes in life, when you have an opportunity to do something so similar to what you did years ago, it does bring forth some of those same feelings that you’re like, ‘Man, I thought, I thought I overcame that. I thought I worked through that.’ And, you know, it’s been beautiful, though, because this time, I get to work through them differently than I did when I was 13.”
DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
