Actress Jen Lilley deeply desires for people to experience and know the love of God.
“I really want people to feel seen, valued, loved and known,” she revealed in a recent interview. “I think that’s what every single person wants. I know that’s what I want. I think that’s how God created us. And so, the very first thing I want is for unbelievers — if they’re seeking truth and they’re asking the big questions — to find that with Jesus.”
In order to help others, Lilley wrote a devotional called Wake Up Your Faith: 365 Daily Encounters with Jesus, which released last November.
“I hope people would be as crazy as I am for Jesus,” the DAYS OF OUR LIVES actress said. “I hope people will actually go out and pray for others. Like you see someone in Walgreens, go be bold. I want people to have their fire lit inside them to know that the time is now, the harvest is ripe. Go out and go make disciples.”

In a post to Instagram last fall, Lilley thanked those who have supported her book.
“Stunned and grateful,” she wrote. “Wake Up Your Faith hit #1 New Release in Spiritual Self-Help, and it hasn’t even come out yet (Nov 4)! In a world full of truth seekers, I pray this book helps many find what (and Who) they’ve been searching for all along.”
People in the comment section congratulated the actress.
“Congrats! So very exciting to see all the ways God is moving through your obedience to him,” one person said. Another fan wrote, “This is so great! And such as answer to prayer that this Holy Spirit breathed devotional is getting out so much all ready. God is using you in mighty, beautiful ways!”
Lilley previously told Crosswalk Headlines that boldly proclaiming her faith has been a lifelong trait.
“I relate to Elijah the most in the Bible, and he was pretty bold,” she said. “So I’m like, ‘Do you need me to be more like an Esther? If so, could You just put a muzzle on my mouth, Lord? – because I’m not very good at being covert.’”
She added, “I’ve always been pretty bold. My nickname in elementary school and high school was Jen for Jesus.”
Jeremiah 29:12-13 says, “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Lilley knows the importance of seeking God, and whether you do that through her devotional or the Word of God alone, He promises to meet you where you’re at.
