Netflix’s DR. SEUSS’S RED FISH, BLUE FISH is an educational animated series for young children following the friendship of Red and Blue as they discover one-word opposites along the way. The first two episodes of Season 2 have high production value with high-quality animation and engaging storylines to entertain children as they learn. The colorful and simple story structure is educational for young and special needs children. The main characters use minimal one to two-word language to focus on the theme of opposites.

In Episode 2.1: “Pick Up/Drop”, Red and Blue walk past a shop, where a kid walks out with a new toy. They look in the window and see the toys. As they open the door, a crowd rushes in and grabs all the toys. Red gets the very last one, but an octopus wants it. They all pull on it, but Octopus tickles them and runs away. The fish runs after, and the chase ensues through the store. They knock into a ladder with a turtle standing on it. Blue holds it back as it teeters, but she can’t hold it back herself. Red lets go of the toy and rushes to help. *Drop* They save the turtle who has a surprise for his new friends that might make up for it.

In Episode 2.1 – “Win/Lose,” Red and Blue are excited to share a day of fun at the underwater fair. At a test-you-strength game, Blue sees a stuffed cat prize and falls in love. She wants to *win* it but can barely lift the mallet. Red tries but cannot make the puck move. They see others win with ease, picking all the prizes. They have to win fast! Red sees a hot air balloon and has another idea. Will Blue and Red figure out how to win Blue’s stuffed prize?

In Episode 2.1: “Push/Pull,” Red and Blue are visiting the farm. The farmer shows them around and asks if they can help him with the chores. They help the cow fish into the barn, but there is still one up on the hill who refuses to go in. They try to get this last cow in the barn but are unsuccessful. After seeing the pigs in the mud, Red has an idea and knows what needs to be done! With the chickens’ help, they figure out a creative and less-destructive way to help the cow move.

In Episode 2.2 – “In/Out”, Red and Blue babysit an octopus baby. They get the baby to sleep, but she jumps *out* of the pack n’ play. They try to get her back in, but she won’t stay. The baby jumps on Red’s back and won’t come off. Blue tries to pull the baby off Red, and she bounces out of the window. She goes down to the mail truck and jumps on. Using a cardboard box and a hook and rope, Red and Blue attach to the car. The mailman unknowingly delivers the baby with a stack of packages to the post office. Red and Blue go after her. Will they be able to save the baby in time?

In Episode 2.2 – “Yummy/Yucky”, Red and Blue are having a picnic on a hill. Blue fish brought chocolate chip cookies. A blue whale excising nearby distracts them, and slugs start eating their cookies. *Yucky!* They gather the rest of the cookies out of the way, but a raincloud ruins their treat. Deciding to get away from the crowds and the clouds, they go to the middle of the lake on a boat. Another surprise threatens their treat! With only two cookies left, how will they get to enjoy their yummy cookies? A bird also has a surprise in store for them. They go back to their picnic in defeat, but a generous surprise waits for them.

In Episode 2.2 – “Up/Down”, Red and Blue are in the park. When they see a man selling kites, they decide they must try it. Blue throws the kite up, and it immediately goes down onto Red’s head. Blue has an idea: climb up the tall slide and try it from up high. Red builds a robot to make the kite fly. But the robot breaks down before it can throw the kite in the air. Their blue whale friend is there, and they ask her for help. But Blue ends up going too high – even up and out of the ocean! With the help of all their friends, they may still be able to get the kite to fly.
