Sadie Robertson Huff has grown a lot as a mom over the last four years.

“The first flight I had with my oldest was hard…tears, stress and anxiety,” she recalled in a transparent Instagram post featuring a photo holding her third baby in an airplane bathroom. “I was worried people would judge me as a mom, and ended up just going to the bathroom to hide from everyone. It was so hard!”

Now as a mom of three, she doesn’t respond the same way anymore.

“I had a long travel day with my third child,” Huff explained. “It was the same picture…She had been crying for a while and I went to the bathroom, but this time, not to hide. It was the same situation, but I had completely different feelings and mindset.”

She went to the bathroom and turned on worship music.

“I was so at peace,” she explained. “All that mattered was comforting her and giving her what she needed, not caring about what others may have thought about me.”

“The situation wasn’t easier. It’s hard watching your baby cry. But mentally and spiritually, I felt so strong and at peace,” she explained.

Her aura ring informed her she had 12 hours of stress that day.

“Physically, I was tired and worn out,” she said. “But even if you’re weak physically, you still be strong mentally (that’s a word for somebody!)” she wrote.

Huff previously shared a message from one of her followers, who observed that she seems “settled” since she became a mom.

“She would be correct. Since becoming a mom I don’t feel that I need to prove anything to the world…or maybe just my idea of ‘the world’ changed. The world used to be everyone outside of my home…now it’s the ones in it,” she said.

Last month, she wrote a reminder for all the other moms out there and encouraged them in their role as the most important person in their children’s lives.

“You are doing an amazing job, and YOU are the person for the job,” she said. “Drop the guilt, drop the comparison, drop the questions, and rest in the truth that God made you for the job. Trust the Holy Spirit, and your natural God given instincts as a mother.”

“Be led by peace, be led by love, be led by God,” the DUCK DYNASTY star continued. “’Guilty parents raise confused kids’ was one of the best pieces of advice I ever got on my podcast when @doc_amen came on. Be confident in what you do and in who you are!”

It’s great to see a mom of three be vulnerable in her journey through motherhood. It’s not easy, but we can reach out to God for his peace through it.
