More Detail:
Films are a powerful tool of evangelism. Christian filmmaker Christobal Krusen has used the medium well in his production CON QUIEN TE VAS? It is the story of a young Mexican boy named Brandon who needs a miracle. His parents are on the verge of a divorce, and his father is demanding to know with whom each child wants to go. By the grace of God, Brandon gets his miracle, and the audience gets a powerful testimony about Jesus Christ. This Spanish language production should be a powerful witness to Spanish speaking people everywhere.
The production quality is good, the acting is above par and the photography and pacing are excellent. I watched it with my four young children, who loved it and understood it. Mr. Krusen understands the Spanish audience, and by filming a true story, he creates an indisputable claim to the redemptive power of Christ. Because the movie uses Mexican actors speaking Spanish, it becomes an effective tool for evangelism for a very specific market. Thus, missionaries, church workers and concerned Christians can be assured that they will not be confusing or offending their Spanish-speaking audience, which might happen if they showed them an American movie dubbed into Spanish. Furthermore, movies never loose their testimony and are able to be used again-and-again.
