A ROYAL CHRISTMAS ENGAGEMENT is a Christian holiday romance on UPtv about Lauren, an ambitious ad executive forced to work with Paul, a foreign consultant who’s actually a royal prince.

The movie opens with Lauren’s boss putting her on the next big project to create an ad campaign for a chocolate company. Lauren’s excited about the possibility of moving ahead in her career, until she learns she must work with a consultant from England named Paul. Lauren believes she can complete the project on her own and resolves not to pay any mind to what the newcomer has to say.

Meanwhile, Paul and his good friend, Prince Edward, discuss their plans for the Christmas holidays. Edward says he feels held down by his responsibilities in his royal family. Paul notes that his wife is due to give birth. So, the two friends agree that Edward can go to America instead of Paul to help Lauren.

Upon his arrival, Edward poses as Paul and meets Lauren. They get off to a rocky start because Lauren doesn’t want to accept his help. However, after the deadline for her pitch is moved, Lauren and the undercover Prince find that they work well together under pressure.

Edward meets Lauren’s family and falls in love with both America and his new work partner. Lauren can’t deny how she’s grown to love him in return.
