MANDIE AND THE CHEROKEE TREASURE reunites Mandie, a spunky teenager, and her friends and family as they head off on a new adventure. Mandie and her two best friends must solve a series of riddles as they travel up a mysterious mountain to discover a lost Cherokee gold mine. However, a group of thieves are also on the hunt for the gold. Mandie’s adoptive mother, Uncle John and her Cherokee “uncle” Ned chase after Mandie and her friends to rescue them. As Mandie pursues the gold, she learns that the real treasure is not the gold, but rather a family heirloom box hidden in the mine. The box holds the key to her family’s reconciliation. In the course of the story, Mandie discovers her biological mother, and her uncle discovers his long lost romance.

MANDIE AND THE CHEROKEE TREASURE is well written, with solid characters and production values, especially during the gold mine sequences. Lexi Johnson shines as spunky Mandie. There is no negative content. Also, the characters embark in MANDIE AND THE CHEROKEE TREASURE on the adventure and risk their lives to achieve a noble goal by keeping a promise.

Based on the children’s book by Lois Gladys Leppard, MANDIE AND THE CHEROKEE TREASURE reunites Mandie, a spunky teenager, and her friends and family as they head off on a new adventure.

Mandie and her two best friends must solve a series of riddles as they travel up a mysterious mountain to discover a long lost Cherokee gold mine. However, a group of thieves are also hunting for the gold. Mandie’s adoptive mother, Uncle John and her Cherokee “uncle” Ned chase after Mandie and her friends to rescue them from the thieves.

The acting is a bit strained by some of the secondary characters, but Lexi Johnson shines as spunky Mandie. The story is the star of the movie as the plot twists and turns with the riddles.

There is no negative content in MANDIE AND THE CHEROKEE TREASURE. Also, the characters embark on the adventure and even risk their lives to achieve a noble goal by keeping a promise. All ages will enjoy this new movie about Mandie and her travels.
