NOAH THE MUSICAL

"God’s Faithful Servant"

What You Need To Know:

NOAH is a filmed musical stage production that tells the epic historical story of Noah as told in the Bible. Noah, his wife, their three sons, and their wives love God and are faithful to Him. However, they live in a time when men have rejected the one true God and instead choose to do whatever seems right in their own eyes. The wickedness of people grieves and angers God. So, He chooses to send a flood to destroy all but Noah and his family. Through much persecution, Noah and his family must stay faithful to God’s commands and promises and ultimately receive salvation.

NOAH is beautifully done, with an excellent cast, story, choreography, and singing. The actors do an excellent job showing how difficult it was to follow God at that time. The producers also do a good job showing how merciful God is. There are some historical speculations and inaccuracies, but NOAH does a good job staying true to the heart of the story. Because of the intensity of some scenes, caution may be advised for very young children.

Content:

(BBB, CC, V, N, A, M) Very strong Biblical worldview of obeying God no matter the cost, with strong symbolic Christian elements of the ark foreshadowing Christ’s incarnation with Jesus seen giving a call to those who will hear; no foul language, but brief toilet humor; men fight and punch each other, people being drowned by flood are heard crying out for help but are not seen, family fights and yells at each other, attempted murder; brief partial upper male nudity; light alcohol use; no smoking or drugs; and, people reject God and live for themselves.
