(CCC, BBB, V, A) Very strong Christian worldview about rediscovering the joy of Christmas, with a strong stress on patriotism, the value of the military, true love in marriage, and giving to others less fortunate than yourself; no foul language; woman runs into a man on the ski slope; several romantic kisses; no nudity; casual drinking; no smoking or drugs; and, nothing else objectionable.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS is a Christmas carol filled story about rediscovering the joy of Christmas and falling in love for all the right reasons.
Olivia is a first-time skier, who crashes into Scott on Whistler Mountain just before Christmas. Olivia wants nothing to do with a guy, and Scott just wants to help her learn how to ski well enough not to crash into people. When she meets her children after ski school, they have already become friends with Scott’s daughter. Scott invites them all to have lunch with him at his grand hotel. Having been burned once in marriage, Olivia is wary, but Scott is an upright sergeant in the Army Rangers whose gentlemanly manners and strong sense of humor endears him to her. They plan to meet for a Christmas party on Christmas day, but as a Ranger, he’s called away to go on a secret mission. Olivia has been burned once more.
Months later, Olivia gets a new job at a bank in a small town in Washington state and is given the task of making the Christmas fundraiser for the families at Fort Wilcox a success. When she enters her office, she finds her Fort Wilcox liaison is Scott. Now, she’s forced to work with Scott.
At first, she doesn’t understand the Christmas fundraiser, but soon she realizes the families at Ford Wilcox, who have husbands or wives overseas fighting for their country have great needs. Also, Scott explains he was looking for her for months after returning from his mission.
Will Scott and Olivia get together? Will Scott be called away to another mission at the wrong time? Will the children get a family? Will the people on the base get a Christmas? Will the businesses in town give to the Christmas outreach? Will the big Christmas pageant come off? Surprises occur which will warm your heart and help you know the joy of Christmas.
