Ollie loves adventure and often explores his world. One fateful day, he encounters a Javan and teaches the baby bird how to open the Piplot pod, revealing the seed. Suddenly, a swarm of adult Javans swoops in and pecks away at the precious pods, threatening the Pookoo’s only food source.
Now, Ollie’s family faces starvation. His wise Grandmother recounts the tale of the Dvo, fantastical walking orchid elephants. Their glowing seeds allow animals to swap bodies to foster understanding and harmony in the land. This harmony shatters when an evil Firewolf torches the valley and drives the Dvo away to flee his flames.
Ollie discovers he can scare the Javans away with reflected sunlight, so he attempts to save the day. However, he falls into a mysterious spiderweb cave and uncovers a glowing pod, which forces him to swap bodies with the Javan.
The animation and world-building in SWAPPED dazzle with lush tropical landscapes and captivating musical scores. The imaginary creatures ignite imagination and add whimsy to the film. A-list actors, Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple, energize the characters with outstanding chemistry.
