Ollie loves adventure and often explores his world. One fateful day, he encounters a baby Javan bird and teaches the baby bird how to open a Piplet pod and eat the delicious seeds inside. Suddenly, a swarm of adult Javans swoops in and pecks away at the precious pods, threatening the Pookoos’ only food source.
Now, with winter approaching, Ollie’s family and all the other Pookoos face starvation. Ollie’s wise Grandmother recounts the tale of the Dvo, large walking tree-like elephants. Somehow they brought peace and harmony to the valley. This harmony shatters when an evil Firewolf torches the valley and drives the Dvo away to flee his flames.
Ollie discovers he can scare away the Javans with reflected sunlight, so he tries to save the day. However, he falls into a mysterious spiderweb cave and uncovers a glowing pod. He and a large green and yellow bird touch two glowing pod stems and are magically transformed into the other one’s species. SWAPPED is a highly entertaining movie. The animation and world-building in SWAPPED dazzle with lush tropical landscapes and a captivating musical score. The creatures ignite imagination and add whimsy to the movie. A-list actors Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple, energize the characters with outstanding chemistry.
