LITTLE MAN

What You Need To Know:

LITTLE MAN is a crude comedy about a midget thief, Calvin, who, with his goofy partner, Percy, steals a diamond but ditches it in a woman’s purse. The woman’s husband desperately wants to have a child. Calvin follows them and poses as an abandoned baby to get the diamond. Meanwhile, Calvin’s partner Percy deals with a gangster who ordered Calvin and Percy to steal the diamond to pay off debts they owe him. As Calvin causes trouble in the couple’s household, including sleeping with the wife, the gangsters think the husband is Calvin’s other partner. More comic mayhem ensues.

LITTLE MAN is a Grade D comedy that’s poorly written and edited. There are only a few really funny, clean jokes. The rest of the comedy is either stupid or lewd. LITTLE MAN has some of the goofiest comedy music ever heard. The music is so goofy that it becomes mesmerizing. Viewers may sit stunned in their sits, saying, “I can’t believe how goofy this music is!” Because the filmmakers take the low road so often, the movie presents a pagan worldview, though there are some light moral elements about the joys of children.
