Production company Wonder Project released a new faith-filled documentary on the Ohio State 2024 football.
“Following Ohio State’s quest to reclaim glory, REDEMPTION pulls back the curtain on faith, brotherhood, and the pressure of modern college football. Through crushing losses, defining meetings, and a miraculous run toward redemption, the team discovers that their greatest victory may not come on the field,” a synopsis of the series reads.

REDEMPTION featured Ohio State players Gee Scott Jr., TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka, and Will Howard who share their season through their perspective.
“REDEMPTION isn’t just about football—it’s about faith, perseverance, and the power of purpose,” Tim Tebow shared. “What these young men have lived through and how they’ve chosen to respond is bigger than the game. It’s a story of what happens when you give everything you have, and then give it to God.”
Series executive producers Marlee and Matthew Benson shared what it was like to film with such a great group of young men.
“In August 2024, before the season kicked off, we saw how the faith of this team was impacting people in Columbus and beyond,” the producers said. “We didn’t know how the year would unfold—on or off the field—but we knew God had given us the vision to start capturing it. What followed was a story only He could write. Redemption became far more than a football story; it became a living testament to how faith transforms every story. We’re grateful to have witnessed God’s hand at work in the hearts of these players and this community.”
Henderson, who is one of the top rookies in the NFL, was one of the Buckeyes’ leaders when it came to sharing his faith.
“We don’t have to be afraid to come to Jesus, He knows what we have done and He still chose to die for you and me, because He loves us. Put your faith in Jesus and He will save you from sin and give you new and eternal life. Don’t be afraid, follow Jesus,” Henderson shared in a post last January.
REDEMPTION was directed by D.C. Joseph in association with Wonder Project, Kingdom Films, and Serif Creative. The docuseries was released on November 16, and all three episodes can be streamed on Prime Video. This project captures the incredible season of the 2024 Buckeyes football team, who not only won a National Championship but began a revival across America.
