SUPER SIZE ME 2: HOLY CHICKEN!

Quality:
***
Content:
-2 Extreme caution for older teenagers and adults.
SUPER SIZE ME 2: HOLY CHICKEN! investigates the world of the fast food chicken industry, as Morgan Spurlock decides to start from the very beginning and open his very own fast food crispy chicken restaurant. SUPER SIZE ME 2 shines some light on some shady business practices in the American chicken industry, but it misses the real problem, that the socialist business practices are actually stifling competition and damaging the free market, while giving government too much power.

STRANGE BUT TRUE

Quality:
***
Content:
-3 Excessive sex, violence, immorality, and/or worldview problems. (Sometimes excessive content such as violence is in otherwise redemptive movies.)
In STRANGE BUT TRUE, a young woman’s mysterious pregnancy sets off a series of twists, leading the characters and viewers asking, “What is truth and what is fiction?” Though it starts a bit slowly, STRANGE BUT TRUE picks up some steam and contains some excellent performances, with a positive ending, but some overt occult content, brief foul language and other disturbing elements render the movie unacceptable, though not thoroughly abhorrent.

INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2

Quality:
**
Content:
-3 Excessive sex, violence, immorality, and/or worldview problems. (Sometimes excessive content such as violence is in otherwise redemptive movies.)

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a sequel, is about a family trying to battle the evil ghost of a mass murderer, who’s trying to possess the body of the father. INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 has stronger moral content that the first movie, but there are still some strong, immoral occult elements that make this scare-fest unacceptable viewing.
