Set in 1925, THE GREAT ALASKAN RACE is an adventure story about people who are determined to save the children of their small Alaskan town from a rapidly spreading disease. THE GREAT ALASKAN RACE is a very uplifting action adventure filled with many positive themes of community, family, love, sacrifice, faith, and the value of all life, but there is some Eskimo mysticism and several light obscenities. So, MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for older children.

BLACK AND BLUE

BLACK AND BLUE follows a rookie black female police officer in New Orleans who finds herself fighting for justice alongside her life after seeing a black police officer stand by while a white policeman shouts a black man down in cold blood. BLACK AND BLUE has a strong moral worldview with an emphasis on fighting for justice, truth, sacrifice, and doing the right thing, but the amount of foul language and some of the violence are excessive and ultimately unacceptable.

THE CURRENT WAR is a man versus himself period drama about the public fight between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse in the late 1800s about who had the safest, most efficient electrical system for America’s future. THE CURRENT WAR is an engaging, well-acted drama that’s generally historically accurate, but the movie is a little too subtle and dispassionate and contains some humanist elements and foul language.

NO SAFE SPACES is a scary documentary by two conservative pundits about the attack on freedom of speech by the Radical Left on many college campuses and in the mass media. Although strong conservative voices lead the way, NO SAFE SPACES also features support for free speech and open discussion from two liberals and even two leftists, so it’s a well-produced, informative, provocative movie that’s trying to rally opposition against the tyrannical, often violent assault on free speech from radical left-wing groups like Antifa and LGBT activists.
