Get your wagons ready and loaded for Hope Valley!

Hallmark’s WHEN CALLS THE HEART set a premiere date of February 23, 2020, for season 7 of the hit series.

On Christmas Day 2019, WHEN CALLS THE HEART released its annual Christmas episode titled “Home For Christmas, ” which marked episode one of season seven. Still, fans had to wait for the new season to roll out, but now the wait is almost over.

Movieguide® enjoyed the episode and nominated it for an Epiphany Prize for Most Inspiring Television Program.

According to Movieguide®’s review:

WHEN CALLS THE HEART: Home for Christmas follows familiar characters in Hope Valley as they prepare for the Christmas holiday with a festival in town. Between finding the perfect Christmas present, traveling to see loved ones, and dealing with a hectic work schedule, the characters must stop and remember the true meaning of the Christmas season. All the storylines in “Home For Christmas” wrap up beautifully to show that being together during Christmas is ultimately more important than any other distractions the season may bring. Thus, the citizens of Hope Valley learn that togetherness makes Christmas a little bit brighter.

Positively, WHEN CALLS THE HEART frequently features Christian themes and elements. Producer Brian Bird once said in an interview with Charisma:

“While we don’t see ourselves as an evangelistic show, the call, I believe that God put on my heart, is to stir up deep soul cravings in people using story. I have a theology about all of this too. It’s not just my hope, my dream and my aspiration. It’s actually something I honestly believe that God has ordained. God was the first storyteller, and story is soul food. My personal goal is to stir up soul cravings in people who watch our show, and if we’re doing our job, God will do the rest.
