Award-Winning Christian Actors Sign Major Deal With Disney

David and Jessica Oyelowo just announced that their Yoruba Saxon company inked a major deal with Disney Studios.
“The influence of Disney’s films on Jess and I as both parents and lifelong movie fans cannot be overstated. Sean Bailey and Vanessa Morrison have an incredible track record of crafting high-quality films and that is exactly what we hope to do alongside them and the Motion Picture Group at Disney. We are truly relishing the opportunity to collaborate with the most iconic brand in entertainment,” David told Deadline.
“The family business just got a boost!!” he then posted to Instagram.
Deadline also reports that Yoruba Saxon will produce values-based content for all platforms. The next movie coming from Yoruba Saxon will be called THE WATER MAN.
The couple is very vocal about their faith.
David previously attended the Movieguide® Awards for his work in CAPTIVE.
“Very quickly, I was inspired to make this film because I know in my life, I have seen that God turned brokenness into beauty. That’s what we wanted to show with the film, and I just feel very blessed we got to do it. Thank you, and thank you, Lord,” David said at the Awards.
Jessica opened up about her faith and work in the industry in a video interview with popular charismatic pastor and prophet Shawn Bolz.
