Exclusive: Great American Pure Flix Shares Upcoming Christmas Titles, Lucas Black Advent Devotional

After their recent merge, Great American Family and Pure Flix are working hard to get audiences uplifting, family-friendly, holiday content this Christmas season!
Actor Lucas Black, known for his role in TOKYO DRIFT and 42, recently appeared in week 2 of Great American Pure Flix’s new Advent Devotional series.
After reading John 1:14, Black expressed his gratitude for the message of the Bible and the story of Christmas.
John 1:14 reads: “And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the father, full of grace and truth.”
“I really love that verse,” Black reflected. “That verse really speaks to me, that he sent his son to save us, to die for us, so that we could be with him in heaven.”
Over the past several years, Black appeared in successful Pure Flix movies such as LEGACY PEAK and BIRTHRIGHT OUTLAW. Black is open about his Christian values, and wants to help offer a biblical perspective through entertainment.
Great American Pureflix also announced their Christmas Week 7 lineup for upcoming holiday content, “Celebrate Christmas Miracles.”
In an exclusive announcement, Great American Pure Flix is hoping to encourage families to “stream the Heart and Faith of Christmas.”
The upcoming titles for week 7 including Movieguide® Award winner A CHRISTMAS… PRESENT, starring Candace Cameron Bure, and new movies such as A CHRISTMAS BLESSING, starring Lori Loughlin.
The list also includes a variety of family-friendly, holiday movies, animated children’s content, and Christmas romances. The rest of the list includes: LEGACY PEAK, TWAS THE TEXT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, MY CHRISTMAS HERO, AN ANGELIC CHRISTMAS, VEGGIETALES: SAINT NICHOLAS A STORY OF JOYFUL GIVING, CHRISTMAS SWEETHEARTS, A THOUSAND TOMORROWS, THE CHRISTMAS CALENDAR, and SANTA MAYBE.

Great American Pure Flix is already in the Christmas spirit with new movies releasing and a focus on keeping Christ at the center of holiday celebrations.
“This really is the most wonderful time of the year, and an extra-special time for families and friends,” Bill Abbott, president and CEO of Great American Media, said in a statement about the network’s holiday plans. “We are excited to begin spreading the joy of Christmas to our Great American Pure Flix members with uplifting and inspiring movies and programs in this season.”
Great American Pure Flix pledged to “celebrate the impact of great stories and themes” through their Christmas movies, which will include stars like Candace Cameron Bure, Lori Loughlin, Jen Lilley, and Trevor Donovan.
Part of that celebration includes a focus on different parts of the holiday each week, from “Getting in the Spirit” to “Celebrate Keeping Christ in Christmas.”
“This Christmas, Great American Family will premiere 21 new Christmas movies during its annual Great American Christmas festivities,” the network wrote in a website post.
