Great American Pure Flix teased that a movie starring Candace Cameron Bure and her daughter Natasha will be a part of this year’s Great American Christmas programming.
“TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY transcends time with messages of life, sacrifice, and hope that are relevant to every era,” said Bill Abbott, the president and CEO of Great American Media. “Candace Cameron Bure is a superb storyteller and star, and TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY tells the story of how one special message can change lives — even decades later.”
“In a world of technology, TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY harkens back to a simpler time and the core values passed to us by our parents and grandparents,” added Bure, who serves as the Chief Creative Officer at Great American Media. “It reminds us that the best gifts we receive, are the ones we freely give away.”
The movie follows Ally (Bure), who has inherited her grandmother Joy’s (played by Bure’s daughter Natasha) letter-press store. Having seen the strain and sacrifice it took for her grandmother to run the shop, Ally intends to sell it, however, this decision is challenged when she meets Bennett (Paul Green), who hopes to preserve the store’s legacy. TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY will premiere this holiday season during Great American Pure Flix’s Great American Christmas.

Great American Christmas is the network’s annual Christmas celebration which features dozens of new Christmas movies that begin to premiere starting in November and running through January. These movies, like all content from Great American Pure Flix, are faith-based or faith-centered, something the company is especially proud of during the Christmas season.
“We have a very loyal audience and we happen to believe the majority of the country wants to see traditional family values and really experience content that’s supportive of faith, family and country,” Abbott previously explained. “And you look at Hollywood and 98, 99% of what’s produced is…anti-American, people of faith are demeaned and mocked, families are never shown in the traditional sense.”
“Currently, as we sit today, we are the leading streaming provider of faith and family content that’s supportive of country,” Abbott continued. “Linear TV is a place where we have had a lot of success…we are on that…mission…and we will never deviate. It is entertainment without compromise. We’ll never compromise our standards or let our viewers down.”
With every Great American Christmas proving to be more popular than the last, this year is likely to be no different — especially as the even celebrates its fifth anniversary. It will be a major treat for viewers to see Bure on screen with her daughter as a part of this celebration.
