Teddy Bear Award® winner Candace Cameron Bure recently teared up remembering how her husband, Valeri Bure, cared deeply for her.

After Bure filmed her last day on THE VIEW, she felt her body responding to her stress and trauma from being on the show while walking through Central Park in New York. She felt like she couldn’t take “another step.”

“I called my husband on the phone. I’m like, ‘I’m in the park and…I don’t know what’s happening to me,'” she recalled in her Sept. 10 podcast episode. “And he goes, ‘Just sit there and wait and, you know, I’ll get back on the phone with you. Just don’t move.'”

Bure sat there and waited until her husband called her back.

“He said, ‘I’ve got an airplane ticket for you. You’re getting on a flight. It leaves in four hours.’”

“’I’ve called an Uber,’” he continued. “’They’re going to come pick you up and can you walk to your apartment?’ And I said, ‘I think I can walk.’”

Thanks to Valeri, Bure got on that plane.

“Oh, it brings me to tears. I’ve never been cared for in that way. Like my husband’s such a good caretaker,” the FULL HOUSE star said. “I’ve never felt more loved from him.”

“And I felt I’ve felt so much love from him in our 29 years of marriage,” she said. “But in that moment, that felt like, you know, you talk about a ride or die, and it was like that was it, man. He just picked up all the pieces and got me where I needed to go, which was home.”

Bure previously talked about going through a rough patch with Val.

“Val and I went through a really, really rough season in our marriage,” she revealed. “And we were like, ‘I don’t know, don’t think we’re gonna make it through.’”

Her middle child, son Lev Bure, opened the Bible and sat his parents through a “45 minute sermon” on marriage.

“And I’ll never forget, because he said, ‘You know, I know I haven’t been married. I’m just a young kid,” Bure said. “And so it’s probably hard to take marriage advice from someone this young, never experienced it before. But I don’t need to be married to know what the word of God says.’”

Bure credits Lev for helping them through their rough patch.

Bure previously gushed about Val, “He makes me laugh a lot, which is a very good quality. He’s just such a bold person. We always have interesting conversations.”

“I love his passion and his strength so very much. He’s so supportive of me and our children,” she added.

After nearly three decades of marriage, the couple shares a deep bond that, God willing, will last a lifetime.
