Jonas Brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick return to camp!
The third installment of the hit Disney movie CAMP ROCK is officially in the works with production already started in Vancouver, Canada.
“The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing,” the logline for CAMP ROCK 3 reads. “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.”

Joe will return as Shane Gray, Nick as Nate Gray and Kevin as Jason Gray that make up the group Connect 3. The siblings, along with Demi Lovato, will also serve as executive producers for the upcoming project.
There will be some new faces in the third installment of the franchise as well as returning ones: Liamani Segura (who fans might recognize as Pink from Disney’s DESCENDANTS franchise) as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey, Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean as Madison.
“CAMP ROCK is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day,” Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television said. “Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”
Joe hinted recently of a third CAMP ROCK movie on the YouTube series “Hot Ones Versus,” where contestants either answer question honestly or they have to eat a spicy wing, one being dubbed the death wing.
When brother Nick read from a card, “As a songwriter, there is a constant need to document your innermost thoughts and feelings, read your last Notes app entry out loud.”
Nick got an unexpected answer when Joe pulled up the app from his phone and said, “Read CAMP ROCK 3.”
Followed by a “Sorry, Disney.”
The New Jersey based trio made the announcement official with an Instagram post of the brother recreating a scene for CAMP ROCK, with the caption reading “good morning campers.”
No official date has been set for CAMP ROCK 3 so far but considering the 15-year gap between the last movie, CAMP ROCK 2: THE FINAL JAM, fans probably are willing to wait a little longer.
