Danica McKellar and Jesse Hutch will star in Great American Christmas’ HAVE WE MET THIS CHRISTMAS? Here’s what you need to know about this can’t-miss flick.
“When ambitious real estate executive, Katie Sloane (McKellar) awakens at The Merry Mountain Inn with amnesia after a car accident, she is embraced by the resort’s warm holiday spirit and the family who owns it – especially the innkeeper’s son, Emmett Jones (Hutch), a man from her forgotten past,” a synopsis reads.
It continues, “The last time they were together, she vowed never to speak to him again, but now she finds herself falling in love all over again, all the while helping the family strategize how to stop escrow and hold on to the Inn they love.”

Emmett tries to make Katie fall in love with him again before she gets her memory back, and “As the spirit of Christmas surrounds her, Katie eventually discovers that sometimes losing your way is the only true path to finding love, and yourself.”
“One of the cornerstones of Great American Christmas is celebrating the legacy of family talent in our Christmas movies,” said Great American Media president and CEO Bill Abbott. “Our viewers love seeing beloved stars, like Danica McKellar and Jesse Hutch, stars who share the screen across generations and bring our heartfelt stories to life.” He adds “It is a tradition that makes Great American Christmas feel like coming home for the holidays.”
In a post to Instagram announcing the film, fans were equally as excited.
“Oh, I love Jesse. Hutch, and I know you two are going to be amazing together!” one person said. Another person added, “Well, I’m actually thrilled about this movie. I can’t remember them being in a movie together before. And there you are, Jesse, in a flannel shirt….LOVE it!!!!!”
A release date for HAVE WE MET THIS CHRISTMAS? has not yet been announced.
McKellar and Hutch both previously received Movieguide® Awards, and McKellar even hosted the Movieguide® Awards Gala in 2024.
In addition to this film, McKellar stars in another GAF movie, GROUNDED IN LOVE, alongside Trevor Donovan. This movie is already available to stream on Pure Flix as of Aug. 7 and is set to arrive on Great American Family and GFam+ on Sept. 27.
