When Gabby comes out again, she sees that the dollhouse is rolling away. Chasing after the dollhouse, she ends up losing it, while the dollhouse ends up in a thrift store sidewalk.
The dollhouse catches the eye of a stylish cat woman named Vera. Vera wants to immediately take the dollhouse for her collection, but a young girl also wants to take the dollhouse, to play with it. Vera pays the thrift store owner hundreds of dollars just to take it home and put it in her museum.
Gabby is distraught about losing the dollhouse but decides to try to ‘Pinch in” meaning, pinch her magic cat ears and become little to fit in the dollhouse, even though the dollhouse is at Vera’s house. Gabby uses the help of the audience to become small and is magically transported into the dollhouse.
When Gabby gets there, she sees that the dollhouse has been taken over by some other toys. The leader of the invading toys is Chumsley. Chumsley used to be the beloved toy of Vera, but when Vera grew older, she stopped playing with him. Now, all Vera does is put her toys on display as a collection.
