A ROYAL CHRISTMAS HOPE is a sweet and satisfying Christmas romantic comedy about an American woman named Julia and a British man named Chris, secretly a prince, who meet at the charity she runs with her best friend, Alexis. Sadly, the charity runs out of funds. Will Julia be able to get the funds in time for their biggest Christmas event and save the charity? As Julia and Chris start dating, how long will Chris keep his identity a secret?

A ROYAL CHRISTMAS HOPE begins during the Christmas season with Julia arriving at her charity called Hope For All, with Alexis breaking the news that one of their donors pulled their funding. Meanwhile, Prince Chris convinces his reluctant parents to let him leave St. Monica to spend Christmas in the United States. His parents let him go on the condition he goes with their royal assistant Malcolm.

Chris and Malcolm arrive at the hotel in the United States, and they go on a walk. After ditching Malcolm, Chris walks into Hope For All and meets Julia, who gives him coffee. Chris returns later that night to ask Julia out for dinner. At Alexis’s insistence, Julia agrees to go out with Chris, but he sticks to his cover story of being a tech executive on a business trip.

A ROYAL CHRISTMAS HOPE is an endearing Christmas romance that has top-notch directing, writing, editing, and acting with a beautiful story and message to boot. The movie incorporates different dynamic shots to make the scenes a little more interesting and to make them look livelier. The dialogue and storyline make sense with a clear beginning, middle and resolution. The editing helps elevate the storyline, so everything blends together nicely.

Every actor does a great job with their parts with almost everyone giving charismatic performances. Jenna Michno does tremendous work as Julia who tries to keep her charity afloat while also balancing it with her family life. Robert Adamson as Prince Christopher has an affable sensibility to him that makes him an instant standout. Kayla Fields as Alexis portrays a supportive best friend without running the risk of becoming annoying.

Butch Klein shows up as Malcolm who does come across as Chris’s annoying assistant, which means he absolutely understood the assignment. Speaking of people who understood the assignment, Renee Ashton and James Hyde enthrall as Julia’s parents. Audience members will appreciate their love for each other and their daughter. Everyone should have supportive parents like them.

Though they only appear in a handful of scenes, Ros Gentle and Michael Swan play Chris’s parents, the King and Queen of St. Monica, well. Mothers will appreciate the sweet scene between Chris and the Queen, showing that she truly cares about her son despite being overprotective. The same goes for a conversation between the King and Chris. To top things off, the ending of A ROYAL CHRISTMAS HOPE satisfies and stays with you even after the credits roll.
