THE CHALLENGE’s Tony Raines just joined the Catholic church.

“Absolutely life changing…Officially completed OCIA and got the paperwork to prove it!” Raines, 37, shared on social media Monday. “But the journey has just begun. Thank you to everyone who had a part in getting me to this point.”

“I am forever grateful and give all glory to God and my lord and savior, Jesus Christ ✝️,” he added. “#blessed #catholic #confirmation #baptism #communion.”

Other actors supported him in his faith decision.

“Always knew you were one of us! 🙏🤘,” said fellow Catholic Derrick Kosinski.

Jenna Compono commented, “Love this! [My husband] Zach did the same thing!”

Recently, Raines, a reality star, has taken a break from the spotlight to focus on his faith and family, Us Weekly reported. Though he and his highschool sweetheart, Alyssa Marie Giacone, are already married, they decided to have another ceremony in the Catholic church last month.

“Marrying her once just wasn’t enough for me so we did it again…” he wrote on April 3. “This time with the Catholic Church’s blessing 💒🤵🏻‍♂️👰‍♀️. #convalidation #sacrament #OCIA #blessedmarriage #faithandfamily.”

Giacona shared on her socials at the time, “This week, we invited God into the center of our marriage and it changed everything 🤍 Grateful for grace, growth, and a love that keeps choosing each other every day. Still the same love, just a stronger foundation 😇”

The dad of two plans to set a good example for his two daughters.

“If we don’t teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to 🙏,” he previously wrote last month.

“What started out for me as ‘going through the process’ turned into something more meaningful than I expected. This journey has challenged me, grounded me and honestly changed me for the better,” Raines shared. “I am very thankful for everyone who walked with me through this and forever grateful for the peace I’ve found that I didn’t even realize I was missing.”

After Us Weekly shared his confirmation to the Catholic church, the star reflected on his gratitude that his faith has gotten attention.

“Grateful to US Weekly for sharing a piece of my story but more importantly highlighting something that really matters…In a world full of noise and gossip, it means something to see faith, growth, and God get a platform ✝️ 🙏” he wrote on Wednesday.

It seems that Raines is determined to make God the top priority in his life. It’s wonderful this reality star take this step for himself and his family.
