This Country Star’s Faith-Focused Reminder Will Encourage You Today
By Movieguide® Contributor
Country singer Anne Wilson not only encourages fans through her music, but she also uses her social media platform to spread the name of Jesus.
“Hey, girl. Let me encourage you with this Bible verse today,” the country singer began to say in a YouTube Short.
Wilson then read Psalm 18:31-35 which says:
For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength
and keeps my way secure.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he causes me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle;
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
“I love the truth in that and the greatness of our God and how He protects us, encourages us and strengthens us,” Wilson continued. “There is so much hope found when you have Jesus as your Lord and your Savior. I hope this verse encourages you.”
Wilson constantly uses the platform God gave her to share the Good News.

Last week she posted “Jesus is Lord,” along with Philippians 2:9-11, on her Instagram.
The verses read:
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Wilson shared that verse as election season and voting take the spotlight on the national stage.
She challenged her followers with one question: “Will you take a STAND? Now is your chance.”
