Cameron Mathison not only hosted this year’s Movieguide® Awards, but he also teamed up with THE INCREDIBLES star Craig T. Nelson to present the the Epiphany Prize Movies and the Epiphany Prize Television.
The nominees for the Epiphany Prize Television include: THE CHOSEN ADVENTURES: Episodes 1.1 – 1.6, A CHRISTMAS PRAYER, HOUSE OF DAVID: EPISODE 208: “THE TRUTH REVEALED”, MAN VS BABY: EPISODES 1.1-1.4 and WHEN CALLS THE HEART: Episode 12.2.
Movies up for the Epiphany Prize Movies are THE CHOSEN: LAST SUPPER – PART TWO, THE CHRISTMAS RING, DAVID, THE KING OF KINGS (2025) and LIGHT OF THE WORLD.

“I love this night, I love this event, and to be kind of like the face of it and to get up there and introduce everybody, that’s really all I do,” he added. “You know, it’s not like that’s all the host does, more or less, but it means a lot to me. It means it’s something that I’ll be very proud to put on my resume. It’s something that I’ll be very proud to post on Instagram, and it just makes me really happy to be here with like-minded people and just doing good in the world.”
He did, in fact, post about it on Instagram, writing, “Honored to host the Movieguide Awards in the heart of Hollywood🎭 A night that meant a lot to me—and an opportunity I’m deeply grateful for🙏🏼.” The post features snaps of Mathison on stage and behind-the-scenes with friends like Candace Cameron Bure.
While on the red carpet of last year’s Movieguide® Awards, Mathison opened up about why he loves creating content anyone can enjoy.
“I know and love…making these great projects and also celebrating beautiful television and film that promotes, like, virtue and good stuff in the world,” he told Movieguide® in 2025. “Positivity and love and compassion and kindness and respect and faith. To me, that gives me energy.”
The year before, he said he’s “all about” creating “family-friendly, positive, inspiring, upbeat content,”
