Chris Pratt’s THE TERMINAL LIST Defies ‘Woke Critics’ After Positive Fan Reviews

By Movieguide® Staff

Despite mainstream media’s efforts to cancel actor Chris Pratt for his conservative views and biblical values, the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY actor won the most recent battle after fans praised his show, THE TERMINAL LIST.

While critics on the review site Rotten Tomatoes labeled the Amazon Prime show as “rotten,” fan reviews gave it a 94% “fresh” score.

A portion of Movieguide®’s review reads:

The series follows former Navy SEAL James Reece as he investigates the murder of his entire platoon during a covert mission. Taking justice into his own hands, he starts a list of those who wronged him, endeavoring to cross off every name.

Overall, THE TERMINAL LIST tells an engaging and thrilling story about a man pursuing justice and truth as he struggles to combat the lies around him. Throughout the series, viewers gain a deeper appreciation for the sacrifice made by service men and women. Reece’s love for his family drives him towards his goal, and ultimately good overcomes evil. However, due to his use of extreme violence to reach his goal and excessive language, Movieguide® advises extreme caution and discretion for adults.

Although the series does contain excessive violence and language, fans defended the show’s patriotic focus.

According to Fox News, the JURASSIC WORLD star posted a series of reports on his Instagram story that highlighted THE TERMINAL LIST’s success despite “woke critics.”

According to Nielsen reports, at least 1.6 billion minutes were devoted to streaming Pratt’s new show. Additionally, the official Instagram page for the show reported last month that THE TERMINAL LIST was the No. 1 show on Prime Video.

Movieguide® previously reported on Pratt’s portrayal in the media:

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan recently noted how Hollywood and left-leaning individuals criticize actor Chris Pratt because he is an outspoken Christian.

“He’s kind of outside the lines in terms of his ideology,” Rogan said on his podcast. “He’s a Christian and he’s pretty open about it, and, because of that they attack him.”

“They’re all insane people that hate their jobs that are sitting in front of the cubicle when their boss isn’t looking, they’re tweeting bad things about Chris Pratt,” Rogan continued. “You see someone being vulnerable and you can snipe at them and you don’t have any repercussions and they’re not in front of you so you attack the guy.”

Rogan noted that when he has interacted with Pratt in person, Pratt has done nothing to warrant the harsh criticisms.

“He hasn’t done nothing,” Rogan said. “He’s so nice. Chris Pratt is like one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. He’s genuinely friendly. I’ve been in hunting camp with him. He’s nice to everybody. My point is I’ve seen him interact with people. He’s a super kind, super normal guy.”
