Influencer Lindsey Gurk has a knack for painting relatable Christian experiences in a comedic light.

Her recent skit casts herself as two angels watching her go about her daily tasks.

“What’s happening? Why is she making those faces?” one angel asked.

“Just wait and watch. The Lord has been working on her with this one,” the other angel says as they watch her talk to herself about an incident she’s still bitter over.

“I forgive again. Thank you, Lord. I live in TODAY, not the past,” she said.

“She shut it down!” an angel shouted.

As she opens up her laptop, the angels watch her order toothpaste, hand soap and wallpaper samples.

“Is she gonna finish the half bath finally?” one angel asked.

“Eh, probably not for awhile. God gave us one with ADHD, so she does things in a real round about way, but it keeps things interesting” the other angel explained.

One person commented, “Why I am crying 💓🫶🥰🌻thank you sister for the authentic creativity, being Jesus.

“This hit WAY too close to home. I watched this sitting in my living surrounded by seeds planning my garden to avoid dishes and laundry. 😬🤦‍♀️😂,” another said.

Gurk is a passionate believer who makes her life — and everyone else’s — a little less mundane with her content.

She opened up about her faith journey last year.

“My faith journey as well started in 2020 when my daughter was born because I knew I couldn’t do it alone and I needed help, and he was my help,” Gurk explained.

Even though Gurk grew up attending church, she never had a relationship with God.

“I got up and opened my dusty Bible. It was like in my sock drawer for I don’t know how many years,” she explained.

A verse she read touched her. And the very next day she and her husband went to church. Since then, she’s been all in for Christ.

In another honest post, she shared photos of her family in their yard and how she prayed for the life she has.

“I prayed for peace, and God showed me that HE is my peace while I was laying right here in this very yard, a day I will never forget,” Gurk said. “And in that moment just a few years back my prayers started to shift. I realized every blessing, gift…heck all of creation points to his love and grace.”

She continued, “His love is all I really ever needed in the first place. So now I pray with gratitude and for guidance on how to love more like Jesus. I hope you feel an abundance of that love today.”

It’s refreshing to see that Gurk is open, honest and humorous about her struggles and love for Jesus.
