Dave And Jenny Marrs on HOME TOWN TAKEOVER Season 2: ‘Celebrating What Built America’

Dave and Jenny Marrs are getting ready for a new HGTV gig — co-hosting HOME TOWN TAKEOVER alongside Ben and Erin Napier.
The FIXER TO FABULOUS stars are joining the Napiers for Season 2 of the show after making a brief cameo in the first season. The couple are excited to have a bigger part in the town improvements
“[The show] is celebrating what built America: small towns, small businesses, communities coming together,” Dave shared. “I feel like as a country, we’ve gone away from some of that — just coming together and working through issues, lifting communities up.”
This season hits especially close to home for him — he grew up just an hour and half away from this season’s setting of Fort Morgan, Colorado.
The Napiers and Marrs spent four months in Fort Morgan, working on 18 businesses, homes, and public spaces, all with the help of the townspeople.
“The generosity that the people of Fort Morgan showed, we saw it every day that we were there,” Jenny shared. “They really and truly just were showing up for each other. And I hope that inspires other people to do the same thing. That’s what the show is about, just reaching out a hand and helping your neighbor.”

We are here in Fort Morgan, Colorado and this community and the stories we will get to share this season are truly inspiring. This show is a reminder that there is a lot of good still out there in the world. We can all make a difference and we can all lend a hand to a neighbor in need. I believe this show is going to be a bright light of hope and we are immensely honored to have been asked to partner with the Napiers to transform this town! Let’s do this

The Napiers and the Marrs’ will head to Fort Morgan, Colorado to do a town-wide makeover.
“It’s just a really cool town and it’s so much different from Wetumpka and Laurel, but at the same time, it has all of the same problems they had,” Ben told People about the new season.
“The town has a really fascinating history, a really diverse cultural background,” he continued. “And just like any small town across America, it has these really inherent charms about it. So we want to go and help them tell that story.”
The Marrs are equally excited about heading to Fort Morgan.
“We’re honored that Ben and Erin asked us to join them on this project, because we got a little taste of it last year and we just really loved the show,” Jenny gushed. “We love small towns, and so we feel really passionate about being a part of this.”
Dave added, I’m really excited to see what the people in the town do because it’s tough in a small town for small businesses, for the people. So to have an opportunity like this, it’s such a big thing.”
Season 2 of HOME TOWN TAKEOVER will premiere on HGTV April 23.
