HGTV stars Dave and Jenny Marrs are inviting fans to join them for a watch party of the FIXER TO FABULOUS season 5 premiere in Bentonville, Arkansas.
“The announcement didn’t go as planned…Butttt…Exciting news! We will have a community watch party again this year for the Season 5 premiere of Fixer to Fabulous!!” Jenny posted along with a one-for-the-blooper’s video as she attempted to direct the crew in the announcement before David chimed in.
“Did you hear Jenny tell us all exactly how that had to go?” Dave joked. “This is how I do every video. I have to film five times! November 7th. We will see you at the premiere!”
The latest season of FIXER, originally slated to air in January 2024, got bumped up to November 7 and will feature sixteen episodes that Jenny promises will feature a wedding, as well as their “most personal renovation to date.” She also shared her heart and motivation for this new season on Instagram.
“Our prayer for this season continues to be that our show is a light in this dark world. The privilege of being invited into your living room each week is not one we take lightly and we sincerely hope you walk away each Tuesday inspired and encouraged to make your home a beautiful reflection of you and your family,” Jenny wrote.
The Marrs family will also go international with their spinoff makeover show FIXER TO FABULOUS: ITALIANO, set to premiere in 2024. In it, the duo “take on their most challenging property yet: a crumbling, centuries-old Italian villa,” Deadline reported.
Along with the November premiere of FIXER TO FABULOUS, the busy mother of five will release her new book “House + Love = Home: Creating Warm, Intentional Spaces for a Beautiful Life.”
“A sample copy of my book arrived in my mailbox today. There is just something about holding the physical pages that makes it feel a teeny bit more real. For so long, I quietly chipped away at the seemingly insurmountable mountain of writing an entire book. House + Love = Home launching into the world in November feels both overwhelmingly vulnerable and absolutely remarkable.” Jenny posted along with a video of her opening the package containing copies of her book.
Movieguide® previously reported on the details of the author’s first book:
“I didn’t want to write a standard how-to guide for decorating or renovating your home,” she explained. “There are enough beautiful and well-written books on the subject out there already. And, honestly, I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all guide that accounts for personal style and preference. Instead, I wanted to write a book to encourage you to be creative with your home.”
