Disney Glorifies Evil in Latest Theme Park News

Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, emphasizes evil in their latest theme park addition with a land devoted entirely to villains.
“😈 BREAKING 😈 Villains Land is coming to Magic Kingdom with two major attractions, dining at @WaltDisneyWorld! 👀🖤 #D23 #Horizons,” Walt Disney World posted on Instagram along with a video featuring villains like Ursula from THE LITTLE MERMAID, the Evil Queen from SNOW WHITE and Jafar from ALADDIN, among others.
“This land will be home to the villains that you know and those that you loathe, which means happily ever after…It may feel like just a distant dream,” Josh D’Amaro, chairperson of Disney Experiences, said of the new land.
“Since the beginning, our Disney villains have given us endless possibilities to tell new stories,” he explained previously.
Sadly, the move emphasizes the cultural shift to promote evil rather than celebrating the good.
The Bible warns us in Isaiah, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
While evil may appear enticing, we know that it leads to destruction.
Disney has previously suffered tremendous financial losses when it devalued good, which should have served as a cautionary tale.
Instead, the power House of Mouse continues to forge ahead in darkness.
An official date for the opening of Villains Land Magic Kingdom has not yet been announced.
Movieguide® previously reported on Disney’s theme park expansion:
Disney’s Chairman of Experiences, Josh D’Amaro, will head the company’s $60 billion theme park and cruise investment scheme over the next ten years.
His next moves must be carefully planned if Disney is going to make a return on its gigantic investment.
“At his disposal is a wealth of unexploited IP (at least in parks and cruise lines) and more than 1,000 acres of land available for development across the company’s six resorts,” The Hollywood Reporter said.
“We will have enough room to build the equivalent of another Disneyland Park. And so then you start to think about, ‘Well what can we do here?’ ” D’Amaro said. “We haven’t told anything, any stories on Wakanda. We haven’t told any stories on FROZEN, although it’s a 10-year old franchise. You think about franchises like COCO and ENCANTO. We almost have an endless stream of stories that we can tell.”
